TL;DR: I bought four pairs of 50 LBS dumbbells for $55.54/pair at Walmart.com and sold all of them for $400 total ($100/pair) on Facebook Marketplace. After fees/shipping, my net profit was $177.84. (Found through Divine Discord Group)
How I Found the Deal
This deal got posted in the Divine Discord group I’m a member of and got called out specifically in the Make Money Here section. This brand was selling a lot of their rubber dumbbells at a huge discount as well as a bunch of their bumper weight plate sets.
How I Listed It
The general idea behind reselling weights is to list for a $1/pound in your local market, so I listed pairs for $100 each on Facebook Marketplace. I just used the stock photo of the dumbbells from Walmart’s website as the main image and I added a second image of all of the dumbbells in their boxes. I didn’t want to unbox them and post a picture of them because I wanted the buyer to know they were getting a brand-new item still in the original packaging.

- Minus cost of item: -$222.16 (includes taxes)
